Mixing Own Fuels ?

Has anyone mixed there own fuel?If so what amounts in oz. did you use for 25% in a gallon.i mixed some but i don't think its right.

It might be best to just buy fuel.

128 ounces in a gall. Ill do it for 10% oil. So by my bad math for 25% nitro content is:

32 oz of Nitro
13 oz of oil
83 oz of alcohol

Its easier to mix larger batches. But much more powerful to buy Byrons...

what is the benefit to mixing your own fuel, are you after a different oil to nitro ratio or price savings or another reason?

ive heard a guy ask about mixing here & there, but don't know ne one thats actually don't it.

no advantage in performance for me,i have a drum of methanol and 5 gallons of nitro we use in race cars.i thought i would try mixing some.is 14% oil too much?i'm using Klotez oil.

thats kool. i have zero knowledge about fuel except what works well & where to go buy it.

id go 12 % with the oil over that is over kill and kills performance. you can go as low as 8% but tune it perfect!!! lean it out and its twice as bad..
