mid range needle problem

Hi everyone..I'm new here but i think this is a great site..helped me alot with my savage xl...I have a lil prob with my mid range needle I was riding today in the street and i noticed my mid range needle totally fell out of the motor I found it on the floor and I screwed it back in all the way tight the truck ran after i did that but with a lil irratic ideling..Does anyone know how many turns from all the way tight I need to loosen it or back to stock setting..any help please..thanks

I'm not sure as to the setting but i know once you find it alot just seal the needle in place so it cant move anymore.. hopefully someone here can advise you of the settings!!!!! and welcome to the forum my friend!!

welcome to hpisf leo. sad is right locktite the needle so that it is flush with the housing. afte the locktite dries put a dab of silicone gasket sealer over it. that should cure it
