Yesterday as i was running my truck it just shut off out of know where. Picked it up and tried to start it again and noticed gas shooting out of the Mid-Range Needle Valve hole it was missing. I don't know what happened but i had the needle set flush why would it just come out like that?

I had an axial 32 where the midrange needle threads where cut so poorly the needle was very loose. I personally don't ever mess the midrange needle. All the carbs I have with a midrange needle, I set it flush and put a bead of rtv over the head of the screw sealing it off and holding it in place firmly.

it wouldnt surprise me if hpi would send you another one as they really seem to stand behind there products, sorry to hear about that buddy!!

Is it the K4.6 motor? Had the same problem with the one that came with my kit, after I traded it to a buddy of mine. His MRN kept walking on him, so all we did was wrap the threads with some teflon tape and haven't had a problem yet. Just make sure you don't go past the o-ring and get any on the needle area.

I contacted HPI's customer supported sent them an email it say's it may take a while for them to get back to me. Extremsavage mine was doing the same and i also put Teflon tape on it but one day i took it off for some reason and forgot to put it back on. Ill let you guy's know if they send me another or not. Thanks for the help guy's!
