LST Shocks

Does anyone know if or how you can get the LST shocks to fit on the RPM a-arms for the Savage X 4.6? If so where can I get the adapter plate for the a-arms? Is there anything that you need to do on the shock tower or do they just bolt on?

Wow haven't seen you in a while. I don't believe they will work with the rpm arms. I have never seen them anyway.

I was just lookin at jcam54's build with the lst shocks and I was wondering what does the adapter plate on the lower a-arm do? Is there any reason why you can't mount to the existing shock mount on the lower a-arm or does the shock hit something?

you have to move the shock out due to the upper mounting locations. innovative r/c is a good place to get the conversion kit, and as far as i know, you have to run savage 25 style lower arms. (the ones with mounting holes on top and bottom.

I picked up 1/4 inch alloy spacers and smaller ones to fill the shock mount holes for a bolt to go thru it with out crushing the pocket. I Bolted them to my x arms on my basher fine. I used the stock lst uper mounts for the shock hole as it is larger than a single screw. It can be done. But all of the kits on the market are for the standard savage arms.Or so I have seen<---- idk here! If you want some pics LMK Ill get them up for you. Ive yet to full out run this set up /mod but from all I can tell it will work fine.

This is almost Identical to what I had come up with Nice find X!!
The only difference I can see is at the shock pocket in the arm itself. I did this a Lil different. I'm still looking for good pics I swore I had them on photo bucket but no. Looking thru a few memory cards now.

Sweet!! Thanks X!! Also thanks for the abbreviation updates too!! I would still like to see those pictures there Bankrupter if you can find them. I think I'm going to phone my LHS right now and get a set of shocks on the way. Does everyone else find this a decent upgrade over the stock shocks?

it was really a Low CG ? but has a few more posts on the shocks themselfs. My racer is posted there. But set up the other way. PM me you email I have a pic for you but its not one I'll post. The Bench is a mess!!! I thought I took allot more but I cant find them. My buddy has my x in his truck Ill have it back tonight and Ill snap you more.
