Hi. Is it still possible to get spare parts for this mill. I was thinking about one as the first replacement for my HPI F4.6. I seem to recall seeing that it is being discontinued and therefore no parts like piston and sleeve.

Being that this is only my second mill I was wondering if you guys actually buys spares to repair your engines or is it just cheaper to replace it once the piston and sleeve are done?

parts are discountuied id recomend getting the picco for just a few bucks more.

Is it the Picco P3 .28 that everyone rate. I can find a Picco .28 on Tower but not a P3? Is it the same. If you have a link that would really help. Just wanna be sure i don't get the wrong one.

last minute change of mind. i went for the lrp .30. should get it in a week

yes I'm VERY interested to hear how the LRP 30 will rip!! from what i've heard its a powerhouse!!!

Who said the 28 parts are discontinued? They were still shipping a few weeks ago when I looked into it.

According to Great Plains, most of the parts are discontinued. Piston, sleeve, crank and block all done. There are still parts out there but they are just inventory. Enjoy your LRP .28 while its running.....BOOOOOOO!!!!!

There are a few sites that are showing the parts and none of them mention anything about it being discontinued, not even the AE site itself. Can anyone confirm that is really done?

I am sure i read it on the forum somewhere but i cant find it as i wasnt looking to buy a new motor at the time i didnt pay much attention to it. It seems that the LRP .30 is supposaed to be the replacement for the .28. However all this is circumtantial evidence until we know for sure.

Out of interest where dou you buy the spare engine parts i.e. piston and sleeve for the LRP .28

In the past I have used e-bay. A few weeks ago when looking for Blaze I called Hobby fever. He said it was all in stock at his distributer but I didn't like his price.
