Lrp .28 piston sleeve does not sit flush

I've notice that the piston sleeve does not sit flush to the block. Is it supposed to be like that?

Yes, if you also notice there is a relief in the head. The lip at the top of the piston sleeve snugs up in that relief. Or at least on some engines it does...I guess I am not entirely sure on the LRP. My TRX and XTM engines have a little lip at the top. It is not a huge lip.

If yours is way off best look at it closer. Make sure your sleeve is lined up with the notch
