Hey guy's I'm having a problem starting my XL after the first tank, the roto-starter wouldn't turn the engine over so i removed glow plug and cranked and it turned over and ALOT of fuel came out, re-Installed glow plug, crank and same thing, i noticed when it did run it was spitting alot of raw fuel out the exhaust, I didn't mess with the HSN or the LSN so i don't know i did pinch the fuel line and it did start for a second but it just loads up???

Tottaly normal .. Pain in the @$$ about break in .. Keep at it . You probably could lean both needles by 1/2 turn . That would help a little

are your needles flush? with your electronics powered on is your carb open more than 1mm? during break in the truck tends to spit raw fuel out of exhaust especially the first tank the mixture at factory settings is fairly rich. make sure you read the owners manual for break in instructions and check your needles. the lsn and hsn settings should be flush with their respective housings.

i had same prob with mine out of box. ended up being that the mixture was to rich and flooding the engine while cranking. try leaning out hsn by atleast half a turn then try starting again
