I've been having an issue recently where my truck sounds really REALLY lean when its idling. If I go full throttle and then stop the truck it almost bogs out and then rev's up really high, and the its almost engaging the clutch.
I don't really want to mess with the settings because my savage was running really nice once upon a time. I thought it may have been the carb, so I took it off and cleaned it out. There's NO air leaks whatsoever.. I just can't figure it out. Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks in advance

if it was fine and u haven't done anything to it could it be a clutch issue? i have no idea just trying to help........

I went back to factory settings and then followed up on the link 88gtanotchback posted for me and its running great again! At least it was lol.. Me and two other friends decided to go bashing and we ALL submerged our RC's in the same damn swamp.. Repairs only cost me $50 thankfully (needed a new receiver and glow plug)

But thank you for the help! It worked out great 🙂

Well sounds like you had fun for awhile atleast. If you got water in the engine I would clean it out completely before you try cranking it again just to make sure you don't have grit in it that can scar the piston n sleeve. I almost drowned one of mine once. Its scarry to watch a truck cart wheeling twords a golf course pond and nothing you can do about it. Keep on bastn on.

My car fell in while I was beside it so I got it out really fast, but it killed the engine the second it went in (upside down with only the tips of the tires exposed) I grabbed the truck and let the water drip out, removed the air filter, removed the glow plug and dumped raw fuel into the head while pulling the pull start to clean it out.. I needed to replace my receiver but the rest of the truck is perfect. I'm going to a friends house shortly to run it for the first real run since.. I hope its okay
