K4.6 midrange needle

Hi guys, I tried to find a post on this as I am sure someone else has had the problem as both mine and a friends do the same thing.The midrange needle on the k4.6 keeps coming loose and I have to keep putting new o-ring in every few tanks. Does anyone have a cure for this.....I was thinking of putting a little bit of an oversize o-ring on?????Please and thanks

Yea put a small amount of loctite on it ..
set the needle at factory settings .. if you don't wanna try the loctite .. then get some Teflon tape wrap the threads . then you should be fine ..


The mid range needle shouldn't be touched IMO .. Had the same problem with my surefire.32

Set the needle to flush and use some rtv over the carb and needle to seal it up and hold it in place.
