K4.6 ho

Ok, this one is new to me... My buddies 4.6HO has a pull-start and the other weekend we noticed back fluid on the pull-start cord, so end of the day I ripped the mill apart changed the back-plate o-ring and RTV sealed it up, cleaned the pull-start and put it back on. He ran it a few times and it was fine. Now its back again so obviously i missed something. Any ideas?

I don't know but it's happening to mine 🙁
not a lot on the pull start but ill get some nitro coming out of the back plate ..

my k4.6 does this too and i have tried everything new backplate, new shaft and o ring. my axials do it too but not as badly. i have just chalked it up as a trait of this motor. it never really affects the tune tho

my k4.6 ate one ways evry 3 weeks or so.then i got a axial 28 one way and it fits the k.4.6 but it is a better bearing

did you use a pull start or roto start ?
