I was wondering if this pack would fit in the stock X receiver box. It's for the 5B. It is slightly larger than the one specified for the Savage. Peace.

I think it should fit as its just a touch larger than other Hump packs and they fit fine.

I just noticed the size difference sorry. I think it may fit but I would check the dimensions on your box to make sure.

To make up for being stupid I grabbed my savy to get you dimensions. I have the X style box mind you.

6.9mm wide 3.3mm front to back and 3.5mm deep with no modification.
According to that it may not fit.

I don't mean to be rude parkermarsh, but if your battery compartment is that size, you ain't gona get an awful lot in there ! I think you mean 60.9 x 30.3 x 30.5mm or (6.9cm x 3.3cm x 3.5cm).

You got the dimensions, measure your box. You may be able to pull it off using a RX battery relocater.

This is all I could come up with for now. I don't know if it would be overkill or not. You would definitly have to get crafty to fit it to the chassis somewhere.

No problem man. Glad I could be some help. I will look into the battery boxes a little further when it isn't so busy around here. I think the ext TVP's will open alot of doors for creativity and room.

I did some more searching Groovethumper and can't find anything under 90mm in length. If worse came to worse you could always stick the pack in a ballon and tie it between the front bumper braces. This is the rx battery relocation I was talking about.

I have been wanting to be able to use some higher apm hur rated batterys for mine too, what I have been thinking is maybe one of those larger packs could be taken apart and put back together to fit if one or 2 of the cells were in that little area in the front of the radio box, just run a pair of longer wires to them. Just don't know what if any will fit up front.

Stealth attack had a hump pack that was too big after a midtank mod so he just ziptied it to the front undercarriage beside the drive shaft. You have to make sure its tight so it don't slide over to the drive shaft but it worked good for him.
