just recieved my OFNA 086 pipe...

and it's backwards. i read around the forum here and everyone was recommending the OFNA 086 pipe. so i go and order one and patiently await the arrival. i opened it up and noticed that the engraving was facing towards the body and not out to the side so i checked the elbow which was also designed to run on the opposite side of the truck. did i buy the wrong pipe? could i maybe run my old standard elbow?

scratch that. got it installed. doesn't look 100% right. the exhaust outlet points about 40 degrees outwards from the bottom and the engraving is on the wrong side but it's on there firm enough. now i just need a way of fastening the tip of the pipe to the body

Yea that sounds about right scrubs. The ofna was designed for a truggy which mounts the pipe on the other side but yes it will work on a savage. Do you have and old bent shock shafts? Those are what I always used to mount my pipes with.

Yeah, you have it mounted right. And the reason Mickey gave as to why it looks funny mounted is true. As for the pipe mount, I just use a metal wire coat hanger. If you have one of those layin around, use it. Hope that helps too.
