Just ordered my cen pipe for my xl

Hi i just ordered my cen gst pipe from the US.I am going to run the hpi header and not the cen one.I will let you know my impressions when it turns up and oh i just ordered blue rpm arms aswell.I cant wait.

I will keep you posted guy's.Not sure how long the pipe will take to get here but the rpm arms are ordered in the UK so i should have them in a couple of days hopefully.

The Cen pipe turned up today.I haven't ran it yet but the pipe is huge.I didnt realise that they are this big as i have only ever seen them on the net.

I think you will like it. I have seen some videos of the cen and different pipes getting tested. The cen pipe from what I saw and heard from people on this forum say it really wakes up the 5.9 mill. Have fun and let us know what you think!

I have just fitted it but haven't ran it yet.I am using the hpi header so its a very straight forward swap.All i need to do now is bend a bit of wire as the hpi pipe hanger bit is to long as the cen pipe is longer than the hpi one.I am going to do a quick search on here as i cant remember what bit i was ment to take out of the pipe.There is a cone inside the pipe and i think there is ment to be a baffle.Its not in mine so i am 99% sure that i leave the cone in and the other bit i don't have is the bit i was ment to remove.

Ya leave the cone in it. I tried with and without it, just to see, and it really hurt my power without it.

Yes i have left the cone in.I didnt need to make a wire hanger in the end as the mounting parts came with the pipe so i just drilled the hole on the tvp a little bigger and used the cen parts and it mounted up perfectly:getdown:

Cool man keep us updated, I was thinking about that pipe or an 086 pipe. I'm not sure which would work better.

Hi guy's well i finaly got to run my cen pipe.My XL is(was)brand new and didnt even start it with the hpi so sorry i cant compare the 2 but i am very impressed.This truck totaly rips.Tons of torque and screams on the topend.I had none of the much read about overheating 5.9 engine problem and infact it was only getting to about 220f with the cen pipe.I would totaly recomend one to anyone looking for a pipe for the 5.9:happy:
