Hi all.

Just want to say the help I have had on this forum so far has been second to none so thankyou all for that.

Iv finally fitted my brand new lrp.32 to my savage and it's a relief.

Only problem I'm getting is I'm trying to run it in get it to temp and then let cool down but if it's on the floor the engine feels it's under load and struggles but if I take it off the floor it revs right out.

It has a brand new clutch in it and iv fitted it watching various youtube videos so I know is correct.

Any ideas lads?

Thanks in advance

I see a couple things wrong in your pics...
1st is your fuel nipple should be pointing to the rear...
2nd is the mesh does look a bit tight, I can see the spur gear looking like the bell is pretty deeply set in the spur teeth.....

Maybe take a short vid so we possibly can help you diagnose your trouble......

Hi jam, thankyou for your reply mate.

Since the photos I did spin the nipple backwards so that is now done and set up. Ok the slipper is about 2 turns off fully tight how many turns would you suggest to undo it by?

I adjusted the engine mount last night with new screws and local tight and have it sat in pretty deep but not enough to give any friction do you still think that is too tight? I'm scared of doing it too loose and shredding all the teeth off.

I will post a video if it will help of the setup and start up so will help you to help me. I meant "lock" tight in last reply.

If it spins freely and if you hold the bell stationary then rock the spur back and forth to find just a "tick" of play, you should be fine. As for the slipper, tighten it until the spring is fully compressed and leave it. May even want to go 1/4 turn tighter. The 32 is going to stress that slipper for all it's worth. With my LRP28 in mine, I have the spring fully compressed and just a hair tighter.
