Issues with building my Wheels + Axle

Hey guys.

I am still getting my savage up and running.
I have run into a little bit of a issue.
The part that you connect the small silver pin in (its a black part) that basically goes through the wheel to attach the wheel nut is not out far enough. I cannot put the silver pin through.
I only have 1 of the 4 wheels that i am able to do it with.
Do i have to disasemble the whole car to get to figure out whats wrong with it?

I will try provide pics today if i have managed to lose you all.

Edit: I checked in the manual and its the axle part #68065 and the pin is part #z260

Grab the threaded part of the axle and pull it, it should pop in place. Let us know if it doesn't and get us some pics so we can help you further.

if you are saying that you can't see the hole (or all of it) from the side that the tire goes on to, then put something small enough in there (like an awl or something similiar in size) and pry & the axle will slide very easily into postion & you can put the pin through.

You can also prob push the axle cup from the other side (where your dog bones goes) and push through.

I just said the awl, cuz that is how i do it. if you want i can prob send you a pic after work.

O.k great.
I never actually thought about putting a awl in there.
