Integy's backorder, Anyone have a clue why?

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has a clue why Integy is having such problem getting parts in. I have had the silver rear hub carriers on order for 4 months now threw my LHS and keep an eye on Tower and nither can get them. My LHS has lots of other parts from Integy on order to which he is unable to get. From tower they keep pushing the dates back of when they are supposed to arive.

You have any ideas?

And now it says late April but Friday I checked it said Early April and it said that for about 4 weeks and before that it said mid-Feb. Who knows.

Does anyone know where to get these things and/or a different brand that is worth it?

LOL, I have that exact same part on back-order at Tower...I had no idea that everybody was out. :dunno:

Are there any alternatives to their rear hub carriers in the States? The HPI pieces aren't available here separately, and I don't trust the Atomic ones I have seen.

I have emailed GH hopping they would make some as I think they could make more challenge of these parts especially if Integy is falling on there feet.

These are what I have on my savage. It looks like you are wanting the non adjustable ones though. These look nice and seem to be holding up well so far. These are adjustable. O no the parts I'm looking for is the one to remove the rear links (tie-rods).

Yeah that was what I figured. I will call my LHS and see if he has any of what you are looking for in stock. I think I saw some there a couple of weeks ago. He is the middle of moving and hasn't gotten all of his stuff out yet. I will let you know if he has any.

Thanks man I'm kind of looking for the Silver ones or anything other than purple. I will keep them in mind thought bud and thanks much for checking. Someone else may take advantage of your offer since there is a set available. I'm just looking for silver or something to go with my Carbon Fiber truck.

when I bought mine, I got them direct from Integy thru Hopalong...surprised you went thru tower instead...Hop gets members a sweet deal on Integy stuff (unless something has changed since then)

PM Hop...maybe he has an inside contact at Integy, that can shed some light on things...

I will try that thanks K0M0d0 I didn't know he had inside connections. I actually didnt order from tower I ordered from my LHS www.hobbieguyrc.com and I'm not sure where he gets them I assume from tower but not sure. I have just been watching there site as they keep it fairly up todate.

Well with any luck I have a set ordered from this place as they had 1 set in inventory according to there web site. http://yeiracing.com/cart/index.php?productID=925 now that I purchased them it changed to nothing so I hope there inventory is correct.

Jason, if you think about it, they are the same price maybe a few cents cheaper than the integy ones. And personally, I think those Atomic ones would look better with the CF than the silver integys. Just my opinion on the matter.

This is true Xtrem but I have heard a few negative reviews about the bearings fitting and such with them. I may get a set yet and see what I think of them.

I'm runnin the integy rear hubs also and had one of the bearings fit a little snug, but, it doesn't bind up or anything. I haven't heard anything about the atomic ones until this thread. If nobody trys them, then I will once I'm able to start my second project build. A year in the making and haven't started yet. LOL. One day it will.

I haven't had any issues with the Integy rear hubs/eliminators.

I just wanted to state that I have recieved the parts a few days ago. This company was good to me so don't hesatate to order from them.
