i stripped another clutch bell

its a robinson one this time... i stripped it on an hpi steel spur. whose bell can stand up to the hpi steel spur? i had my mesh set right, i don't know if the motor moved, but regardless, i need a better cb. whose can i buy that wont strip off?

only the vented racing bells hold up the the HD spurs

I am worried about the same thing. I kuat out a steel spur on my truck but I have a fioroni clutch so I can't use the hpi CB as it is not deep enough.

I always run plastic Spurs and rarely go threw them and have never tossed a Clutch Bell due to teeth wear.

Be sure that the CB is lined up straight with the spur gear, I have also destroyed more Cb's and spur gears than I care to admit. My biggest problems were crooked alignment and bad mesh, a close third was loose mount screws and cracked engine plate. Good luck

No offense Combuster but RE is the only brand I have had fail
