HPI Savage x running issues

Hi everyone I’m new to the rc world and having trouble with my savage x the problem is when the fuel pressure tube (the tube from the top of the tank to the exhaust) is attached the car is boggy and slow but once unplugged it runs fine ?

Have you verified if the tube is clogged? Or if it has a leak? Put the tube under water, then blow through it, you should only see bubbles at the opposite end.

The pressure tube is there to help fuel get to the engine more consistently as the tank empties. As the tank goes from full to empty, the positive pressure from the weight of the fuel goes down and it runs lean. If it's overly rich when your pressure line is connected to the pipe, just lean it out.
