Just added a diff weight chart to the first post, hope someone finds it useful.

lol.......
I use Mobile1 20/50 synthetic in all my gearboxes.
If its good enough to keep my harley lubed, its good enough to keep my savages lubed
AND its cheaper than RC lube

Has anyone tried these gears in the Savage 25 differentials? HD Steel Spiral Cut Diff Ring / Pinion Gear 8T/26T for HPI Savage X 4.6

I have a savage flux xl... When I hit the throttle it's only "grabbing" on the right side and burns out side ways.... So checked all the grub screws and drive shafts.... All fine! So I took the rear end off and when I put my fingers on each side of the differential and twist where the drive shaft goes everything turns like it should?? But when I try to "GO" only the one side is grabbing?? Anyone have ANY ideas??😭

sounds like the bevel gear in the diff gave it up. only way to know for sure is to tear it down and examine all the parts

Ok I have the rear end out and the a arms off just haven't cracked it open yet... From the bottom all of the teeth look good but I will try to tear it open today! Thank you!

Ok.. uh so its definitely The bevel gear as you can see it snapped right in half but my question now is why is the oil in my diff so THICK!? is it supposed to be?? Like it feels like glue?? Please help! 😭
