How to install small o rings?? Is there a trick?

Well, just started rebuilding my 5.9 after it sat torn apart in a box for 2 years.

I am having issues installing the super tiny o rings on the needle valves. I have tried several different methods but they seem to not wanna go back in place. Is there a trick to doing these or a special tool i should have.

I usually just roll those little O rings into their grooves, do not use any metal tool on them because it will nick them and make a leak .... a bit of associated Green slime helps a lot to get them on and will help them seal also.....

They are so tight i cant get them over the lip to roll em into place. Then i have to roll em over threads. Will this hurt them.

If you look up the traxxas carb rebuild kit, it comes with 2 brass guides for o-rings.
