How often do you do a complete teardown?

Just like the title says. I was wondering how often you tear apart your Savages for maintenance. This thing is rock solid, but I want to make sure I keep it in good shape. I am kind of lazy though, so I don't really want to tear it down until I really need to.

If you clean it after each run and nothing major breaks I would say after each season unless it is caked in dirt that you can't get off then I would do it sooner. Get some good nitro cleaner and an air compressor and you should be good to go.

after a few runs or so i break it down by taking the front and back off checking major screws and bearings clean it up check diffs for any leaks or screws backing up then burn a few gallons threw lol

A gallon maximum. Unless we run at the bmx track then it needs it after the bash even if you just did it before you bashed the park.

lol everytime i am bored or its slow at work i will tear one or the other savages down. altho they have been neglected since last weekends bash. been busy building a motor for my 1:1

I usually tear mine down at the end of the week if I have run a few times. tore down last week and again tonight, I went to the bmx track today, it was real dusty, plus I like to keep my diffs full.

I usually don't touch it unless something breaks or at something is wrong.

I don't want to spend more time maintaining it than playing with it. Although I enjoy maintaining my Savage.

I check mine everytime I go out but a major tare down is when its cold out I've done this for the last 4 years now and just this past one have I had to replace the bearings for the steering and a cracked servo case but other than that I don't find anything major.
