Hotbodies Pipe or Hpi Pipe?

Does anyone have any comparisons on the two? I like the fact that the Hotbodies one doesn't have the silicone coupler (I have a Vantage pipe with the coupler rigged to it but it keeps popping off). But any opinions on which is better?

I hate pipes with a coupler . (in fact I wont run one)

never ran either one so I can't tell you what performance is like

This is what I'm runnin on my savvy right now. So far it's been a pretty good pipe. When and if I get a new motor, I'm gonna try and get a Buku.

I believe he is trying to get away from the silicone coupler and run a one piece design.

I'm using the HPI polished pipe right now at the suggestion of doesgo. It seems to be working fine. I have it on my LRP Z28 and the power is unreal. I don't know if thats because of the pipe, the engine or a combination of both. I would check with doesgo, Ive picked his brain a few times and hes very knowledgeable about the pipes.

I use the HPI tuned pipe with coupler with no problems. Great cheap pipe.

But I am going for a Buku next.

I'm running the hpi polished pipe as well with the coupler and haven't had any problems, i was running the ribbed pipe but the tuned polished one has given me a pretty big power increase i would say!! and the hpi polished only cost me $20.00 from nitronutzz on ebay great deal and a great exhaust!!

The Hotbodies one is more money, but it comes with the mounting header. When I get a new pipe, I have to get a new header anyway (mine is almost trashed) so when you add up the prices of both, they're relatively close to one another (what I priced at Tower at least).

I'm running the HB one piece pipe and its realy nice. No leaks and it fits like a glove.

i have the hot bodies pipe. I gota say I have not had good luck at all with h.b. I may be crazy but I think i was running better with a cheap generic e-bay pipe than the polished h.b. pipe. BUKU to the rescue!!!!!!!!!!! From what i hear if your gonna spend the money................

You have the crappy "shelf queen" pipe though not the one in the link. Big difference. It looks cool don't get me wrong. But the one on my truck and in the link is a good pipe.

i have the hpi polished pipe on both of my savages and have no problems whatsoever. if you like pipes with no coupler....try the ofna jp-1. my friend has that on his RB tm928 and has no problems. the hpi pipes do me good..... i just can't afford the buku now
