Help removing piston and sleeve

Hey guys I just ordered my new front engine bearing, I took my engine apart to the point of just having my piston, sleeve and conrod left. how do i get the sleeve out without scratching the inside of it or damaging any of the components? i tried a bit but its tough. should i heat the engine first?

Try using a few zip ties.. put the zip ties through the exhaust port and up threw the block then turn the engine over using the flywheel... it should push the sleeve out .. try that then get back to us

I'm the third owner of this truck and the 1st that actually wants to take the time and learn about it and make sure its proper. I want to clean all the engine parts. is denatured alcohol choice cleaner for the parts?

yes plop them in da rinse it around then blow it off with air is what i do
