Hi i need the biggest, baddest, fastest and most horsepower engine me and my friend are racing for $2,000 and i really want to beat him he also has a savage but hes got an axial .28rr engine which one can beat it and i need one no bigger than .32 engine because i already have a Tsais C5H exhaust and i have got a 3 Speed gear box which upgrades such as drivetrain will i need to do to handle extra torque and how much will the engine be any help appreciated i will keep you updated.

Thankyou

I can't help you as to which motor is the biggest and baddest (although if your budget is unlimited, look into Nova Rossi's)...as far as racing savages head to head, odds are pretty good the motors aren't going to make a lick of difference...driving skills will prevail more than anything...

Switch you're savy over to an electric brushless system and you'll toast your friend all day and night....Otherwise, I'll have to call :bsflag: until we see some vid and cash changing hands, lol.

Or, why not go for the exact same motor he has, then get a Buku pipe and change up your gearing.

no I'm not switching to brushless and i was thinking of getting an XTM pro 457 is this an good engine it has 3.8hp how much does the axial have thanks and which nova rossi engine is it please include a link or model number is the novarossi the fastest one and will it pop wheelies and what is the top speed of this compared to a stock savage and how much HP does it have thanks

The Axial .32 is bigger but the .28 has more rpm. You can go with the .32 and use gears, maybe a 19cb and 47 spur, keep it low and no wheelies. Good luck dude!

so which one nova rossi, axial, XTM or iv also been looking into a RB Concepts please also tell me the model numbers thanks ok but tell me what i will have to upgrade the extra torque thanks

XTM is the torque monster.....not so much for high speed....I'd go with Novarossi....I've always loved their motors, don't know if it would win though, lol.

so which one is the fastest engine with most amount of torque and what will their top speeds be compared to the savage so either xtm, novarossi or axial

If your looking for a great motor I would say go for the XTM,,,,Its cheap compared to the others and it hauls!!!!!!! I have one in my savy.

I'm running the xtm 457 and man its insane!!! mines geared for tearing up the dirt but with different gearing it would be a rocket!!! and i kinda like the 2 needle carb instaed of the 3 as i find it easier to tune!!! mine wheelies even when it hits second gear lol and i paid $160 for it through hobbypeople.net

If you put the THS 8015 tuned pipe you bring the top end up and make more hp. Or be like me and put a supercharger on the xtm and KICK SOME BUTT!!!!!

ok between the XTM 457 And the Axial .28RR Spec 1 which engine is better and what will i have to upgrade to handle the extra torque

Thanks :bluehack:

does the supercharger really work or does it just F*** up the engine and how does it work and do you get yours from RB innovations

and is this the one

but i am already using a Tsais C5H Pipe and my stock savage was a machine with this exhaust

what parts do i need to turn the XTM 457 Pro to Rotostart

Thanks

Ok so between the XTM 457 and Axial .28RR Spec 1 Never been a big fan of LRP but i f the Z.28R Spec.3 Pullstart is any good please tell me also if the XTM 457 Pro Truck 6 Port Engine .28ci is a good engine, well known brand and reliable thanks

LRP have not heard one bad thing! This is a great all over mill. You could also consider the SH .28 P8. I think it's a little harder to find parts here in the US for the true SH.

Hey dude, The xtm enging has more torque than the axial but the axial has more top end rpm. If your going to race all out then the axial seems to be a better choice. As for the supergharger, it does what it says it will but break in the engine with out it then install the unit and re tune the engine. Thats the safe way to go if your going to use it. I have to tell you that it is a real pain to get it just right but when you do......DAMN THIS TRUCK MOVES!!!! And you must hook up the aux preasure system since a savy tends to run lean at half tank. It should look something like this...

You also can expect to see temps higher than your use to seeing from the engine since your funneling more fule into it. I would use 30% nitro as well because you can run a richer engine and get great top end from it. Just make sure you order an additional idler pulley to rout the belt away from the silicone coupler on the carb. The kit you looked up is the one you need but order ALL the additional parts with it. You will also have to be careful on what gears you run since the belt can get very close to the slipper clutch nut. To use the xtm with roto start you need the back plate from the xtm 247 motor and swap the parts and the roto will bolt on to it.

Any problems, come and find me,I will help you
