Help please!!

hello recently my friend gave me his savage x 4.6 in pieces and a brand new LRP .30 motor.
I pretty much got it all back together but I'm having problems lining the new motor up with the spur gear
i think the problem is that my motor mounts are to big and i need custom ones..

Also i need a new pullstart for the motor cuz he butchered that. I went on the LRP website and its very sketchy you apparently can't order parts and there is no pictures

For the pull start you can get the part number from the lrp website and order from eBay or tower hobbies.

The pull start for the Mach 427 and a few others work on the LRP .28 so I would imagine that they will work on the .30 as well.

Can you get a picture for the lining up problem. May help us help you so we can see what's going on.

Are the bolts hitting the TVP's not letting the mill to slide over far enough?

Another problem that you could look for is the back plate is pretty large on that mill. Is that hitting the TVP not allowing it to slide over?
