k so i have a savage x i can not get it started. the glow plug is good unless i need a different kind idk but it is brand new the igniter is good but the engine will not start it wont even turn over....plz help me↔↔∟←→↓↨↑§

if it is a new mill it is flooded imo. remove glow plug and try the rotostart for a couple seconds to clear fuel from your mill. re-install glow plug and back off 1/4 turn. that should release compression to allow your engine to turn over. try starting and then re tighten glow plug when it runs. warm up and tune it a little leaner. hope this helps.

What canucksavage said is right, your engine is probably flooded (do what he said). I needed to unscrew the glow plug by 1/4 turn to start my mill when I got my Savage as it had too much compression & was too tight before break-in which made it nearly impossible to get the pullstart to rotate the engine's shaft.

Doing that you should have no problem starting it. Also, remember to follow a break-in procedure once it starts else you could damage your engine! (if it's new)

i tryed that still no start it acts like it doesnt have any spark....is it my glow plug like the one it came with is fouled but i got a new one not the same brand is it that??

my savage is not new it was running great for a few months the hobby shop i bought it at set it up for me tunned and evrything now idk whats wrong with it and i don't want to bring it in and spend money

take the plug out and and using some needle nose pliers put it on the igniter. make sure it heats up good. if it does not heat up either your igniter isn't charged or your plug is dead. i'm guessing your mill still has compression (pinch)?

i will check that i think it has something to do with the fuel getting to the piston when i try to fire it up it acts like there is no spark to the nitro but.....i am gonna work on it after the weekend

happened to me and another local guy here in Vancouver. maybe a defect in engines. HPI warrantied mine, altho it took a month to get the replacement back up to Canada.

It would still start if he had a hole in the line, it would just run lean and probably just cut out when he gave it any bit of throttle. I had this problem earlier this year. I would take the plug out, turn the truck upside down and give it yank to clear the fuel out. put a new plug in, prime it and try a start. I would even heat it up for a few minutes with a hair dryer to make it that much easier. NM didnt read the whole post. disregard this
