What is the deal with the byrons. a local shop by me has 30% byrons in stock. is it good fuel?

Byron is a very good fuel. It is a top quality fuel as well, one of the best. I run the 30%.

Bank, I'm not sure if you have a HobbyTown USA by you or not, but the one here sells Byron Fuels. I haven't seen any 25% there before, only 20% and 30%. That might be another option for you. They sell there 20% for I think $22 and there 30% is I think only about 5-6 bucks more. Hope this helps any.

I think I'm going to pick up some of the byrons 30% this week. I'm out of trinity.

I have 2 gals 30% good stuff ! But not for my LRP and Rossi.. 25 for them.
I run 30 in my K5.9 and K 4.6 HO.

It says not to (LRP) Also on the rossi 25% max due to acids. No other motor has given me more with 30 over the 25. Plus it costs more. So I stopped using 30 in my better mills. I can still run 20 with no real power loss that you get with the 30 to 20 switch.

No true reason I don't, just a few that made sense to dump it. BUT NOW I CANT FIND IT!!!!! Its driving me nuts.

I had to pay 156 for a case and that's silly. That's 39-40 a gal! B4 the olympics it was cheep and abundant.

I worked a deal with a LHS near by me. I can have shelf space to buy and sell Byron's feuls. He informed me that all carriers are charging 40 buck haz mat fees per a case above shipping. So he will no longer buy any fuel at all and is dumping the Nitro part of the hobby in his store. But If I wish to use his store front to become a Byron's dealer Its all mine to do so. So now I must look into this and see what the real prices are and get the ball rolling. If I do become a dealer I'll let you all know. Not that I'll be able to cut deals to any one out of state. But this is a start...

Why isn't our government looking into alternative fuel for RC cars? The guy who does that gets my vote! Someone in Congress should be working on lowering nitro fuel prices!
