Help a newbie make his Savage bigger!

Hello there

So I've decided to make my Savage Flux bigger. Longer and wider! So got a few questions..

First of all, is HPI's XL conversion kit any good?

I also want to get real 17mm hubs. Like these. Whats the easiest way to make them wider? I found some extenders at ebay but I'm not sure how they'll work..

those dog bones are a downgrade from the flux bones and will likely not last 1 run.

i widened mine 1" with offset rims & lengthen 1 1/2 " with platinum rc ext lcg tvps. he makes them in XL length also.

Sounds like you may want a Savage 5T.

what wheel and tire set are u running

are they light weight? is there a light wieght spoke setup that widen 1"

The tire he has are hpi dirt bonz . about the rim I'm not sure but i think there ofna dish wheels .
