Heating my engine

Every time I have to start my Savage, I get out my trusty heat gun to warm up the engine, and it starts almost immediately. However, I find the engine doesn't start if I don't warm it up. Usually the temperature out is 40-55 degrees, so it is chilly without the heat gun. Since my local outdoor track has no power outlets, I was wondering if any of you guys have any tips on starting a Savage, it'd be appreciated if you could share them.

Hold the cooling head next to car exhaust tail pipe for a min or so to warm it

can also use those hand warmer packs. Pack it around the engine. If you do have your car near, you can get an inverter, plug it into your cigarette lighter outlet and then run your heat gun from that.

I have a little butane torch with a heat gun tip that I used to use when I ran nitro trucks .
