ok so i have heard of a piggy back type tank that is in line with the main fuel tank as a "header tank." when i got my savage i traded the stereo system out of my truck for it and it came with a full tool box and the truck and a couple bodies. in the tool box was a "header tank" but it was never installed on the car i was just wondering if it was benificial to do this mod or not? this may be addressed somewhere else but i searched and have yet to find anything on it other than this thread: Well I'm new to this forum! (Picts inside) 56K beware! posted by larsen racing. he adresses the issue of what it is put in to prevent but i have never had a lean out problem i was just wondering if it was worth the time to take to install it or if its just a preventable band-aid? any thoughts? by the way its the side tank mounted on his ext if you look up the thread to get a picture of what i'm talking about.

thanks

thats a nice idea but it would only work with an extended chasie it looks like. i just downgraded to the stock chasie on mine it used to have an extended but i like the upgraded dogbones i have appose to the extended chasie. anyway to stay on topic i like his idea basically the same thing i'm talking about except the "header tank" i have doesn't have the top opening like that one.
