can somone please explain how all the fuel pipes are run between the two tanks when doing a header tank. as i don't want to do a midtank because i have an all alloy tank and would like to keep it

it explains it in the thread, you fill the main tank, switch the lines and primes the second tank and engine, then refill the main tank

Yes It eliminates the Half lean issue but is a lot of work to run each time compared to the newer Mid-tank designs. I ran a Header tank for a while but have now switched the truck to a 250cc Ofna Mid-tank kit and love it. Here is a few pictures of my header tank design. I used a Manual fuel pump for filling my tanks worked pretty good but still more work.

apearing from the midtank mod, seems the servos are relocated right?

Most of the time the Throttle/Brake servo is relocated tord the rear in the stock tank location. The Steering servo is usually left in the same location but sometimes if moved slightly to give more room for the tank.
