header gasket

I have been running my truck for about a month and all of a sudden i keep melting the header gasket i have went thru three of them in the past month and still have no idea why this is i have set the carb back to factory settings and started working my way back out from there It runs good just keep melting gaskets. Please Help!!!!!

seems ur engine runs really hot, check the temp using temp guage

Like Bin said what temps is your motor hitting.

Another could be that the header to block isn't sealed up correctly. When the exhaust gasses escape threw the hole they will tend to burn it worse than if it's sealed properly. So check for proper header alignment. Also, the HPI purple gaskets are thicker so If your not using them you may try them.

Another is to make sure your not ripping them upon installation.
