whats the range of the different glow plugs? 5's, 4's and 3's. I ran it today about 0c outside with 2"of light snow and it struggled with the 5 in it. And i've seen guys put aluminum cans over the cooling head to keep the heat in but how do you get the can to stay on there? thanks guys..

zip ties are your friend. poke small holes in the aluminum can and zip tie them on. you could also put a can over your airfilter to prevent snow from melting on it and your motor sucking in water

cut up a beer cozie the ones made of neoprene and have it slide over the mill to act like a jacket to keep heat in.

cool I never thought about the air filter, good idea. Do you leave the top open so you can get the ignitor into the glow plug? thought it would be sealed to keep the snow out.

awesome thanks Micky, do you take the body off so the snow doesn't collect underneth?

How hot of a glow plug do you run in winter?
