Hi everybody,

After getting some help from folk in this site I eventually got my 3.5 running and put another tank through it (I'm still breaking it in):ercm2:. It ran fine then cut out and i couldn't get it going again.:duh:

Think it might be the glow plug this time so i am charging my charger overnight just to be sure. Is there a reliable brand of glow plugs that people use or do people use different types for different reasons?

I did a couple of half throttle laps in the second half of the tank and i loved it man, can't wait to get i fully broke in! Couldn't resist! Didn't go anywhere near thrashing it though!

I replied in your other post also, many people here have good luck with the McCoy MC-8. I run the MC-9 in my K5.9, it seems to like the colder plug better but I will try the MC-8 again after I get a Picco .28. Your motor, fuel, and climate will all affect what plug will work best for you. I read something at one point that said, in general terms, bigger mills like colder plugs, and the higher nitro contents like colder plugs. That seems to make sense in my case. I run 30% nitro in a 5.9 and it likes the cold plug better than the medium-cold. I say try the MC-8 to start as that's what seems to work for most people and then you can experiment form there if you don't like it.

Cool, cheers for all your help mate.

Hopefully once i have it broken in it will run better and be a bit more reliable!

I will check if it works in the morning or later on tonight and go fom there..
