Does anybody have any good tips or methods for cleaning the dirt and debris that seems to collect around my glow plug? I'm afraid at some point when putting in the glow plug I'm going to knock some dirt into the cylinder.

With the plug tight, I spray nitro cleaner in there let it sit, then turn it upside down and blow it out with compressed air. But canned spray like frddy said sounds faster and easier.

i put a lil simple green on it an blow it out with my air compressor

at the track, i simply use a small flathead screwdriver to gently get the bigger debris off and away from the glowplug. Then i use a straight brush i have using WD40.
