Hey guys I'm new to the forums and new to savages too, however I'm not new to RC so thats a bit about me 😀, anyway I'm geting a LRP z28 for my savage, which il get summ pics to show u there are a few things I'm trying to get sum advice on
#1 What pipe and header setup is best for my LRP z28 (preferably in the affordable range)
#2 what engine mounts will i need for it
#3 what is the best gearing for it (looking for optimum bashing power and still wanna be able to beat my friends HPI MT2 18ss+ (which is very fast)
and lastly if anyone has any tuning tips for this motor

Thanks guys, here are the pics

Oh sum last minute editing, that motor that is in it in those pics is a Hot bodies .46 truckzilla, this motor is insanely big and has craaazy torque HOWEVER the motor suks... its impossible to tune and runs like a sack of you know what, hence i am getting a zippier more refined and fast LRP z28 😀

Hmmmm for a quick run down....I ran an LRP .28 in my XL and I used the stock gearing and motor mounts and a Dynamite 086 pipe. It hauled a$$ and wheelied on command.

That .28 is now in my buggy and as soon as I get my new pull start, I have an LRP .30 getting dropped in my XL.

Hope those few tips helped!

Hey kam, gotta ask ya to do a full review including vid after you run in the LRP .30.

we've been wanting to see this mill in action but i think you are the first to get 1.

good luck with it, i hope it works out for ya.

thats a awsome idea actually, as i've heard alot of people wondering if the LRP 30 is a worthwhile investment so I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions on it!!

welcome to the forum

to answer your questions the LRP will mount with any motor mount
and a pretty good pipe would the ofna 086 or the macs marine pipe and for gearing i would start at 47 sg and 17 cb

Hey Guys,

I will be more than happy to do a review/run in of the .30. It may be a while though as I have to go to NTC for Army training and I have to wait for my pullstart to get back from being fixed....loooooong story. But as soon as I get back expect to see a vid and some wordage!
