gasket seal question

hello,
i have sealed my engine with gasket sealer but it didnt say on the bottlr that its high temperature , however it said that its plus 280c which is above 500f
and thats why i bought it
now on my engine i see the seals like they are wearing if i pull them they come of easily (for example in the carb lock pin)
Do i have any problem ?

If you O-rings are wearing out I would replace them so you don't run into any air leaks

i agree with f1n3sse o rings are your best bet ..I'm anti seal lol. but i think your sealant is ok on the temp but maybe not with the nitro fuel or it cant stick to what the block material is made of..

nitro fuel is alot harsher than other fuels ..i think most ppl that seal their engines use the copper rtv . but I'm not exactly sure ..i don't seal any of my mills ever. thats just me.. but you can ask what the best thing to use to seal your mill is. and youll get alot of replys i think... good luck.

hes probably using something similar to rtv, silicone gasket maker. it should be fine for his carb, backplate, and carb pinch but I would still replace the o-rings if they are bad

i forgot to tell you that it doesnt say non volatile

do you think that i should just remove this silicone and let the o-rings do their job?
