Thanks guys, I consider that high praise.

As far as the clevis rods, they were cheap- I think $3.50 for the pair at the local Hobbytown. I highly recommend them, they're easy to use.

SJ, I had to use a longer servo saver so my linkage didnt hit the radio box. Other than that, I used the same things you have listed. This is the one here: http://cgi.ebay.com/OFNA-MBX-thrott...0060625QQihZ010QQcategoryZ34063QQcmdZViewItem

Its bright yellow and plastic, but it works great. Thought about getting a blue aluminum one, but not going to. If it ain't broke don't fix it. If it ever strips out or breaks, maybe Ill try the blue aluminum one.

If you don't mind having black, you can use this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Ofna-Carburetor...1701337QQihZ018QQcategoryZ44028QQcmdZViewItem

Come to think of it, I used parts from that link, this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200181077082&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=010

and this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Ofna-Servo-Link...hZ010QQcategoryZ34056QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

SJ, those are the 3 kits I ordered and I used parts from each of them. Here is what it looks like. I also put the ball connector on the link that goes to the carb. Its working great for me. I hope this helps ya a little bit bro

SJ-

The two links you posted have everything I used for my setup. If you order both you will have all the pieces you need. From there just mimic what I did and if you hit a road block let me know.

I eventually want to do my throttle linkage like Hop did his. I don't want to have the linkage pop off that 90 degree plastic piece (brain isn't working right now). Here what Hop did.

you know, I never actually looked at the price. I just searched, had a couple windows open and was c/p'ing links onto notepad

Well I have a problem with the ofna mod everything is working out good but the problem I'm having is the servo horn where it gets screwed down its stripping out the teeth and have tryed all 3 of them to see what one fits better now I do have a metal top coming off of my srevo would that have anything to do with it stripping the teeth out?

ike do you have a picture of metal top you are referring to?
Did you use the plastic servo adapters? or did you put the servo horn directly to the servo?

I am useing hitec hs645 mg. No I don't have a picture and yes I used the adapters for it thats what keeps stripping out.

I've done the job with stock servo set up,everything works flawlessly.
Thanks FXs you got my rep points!

does anybody have pics of this mod on a 25?? i have the stuff to do it but the bottom slider is hitting the tvp. thanks..

Scott do you have a picture of how you have it set up? We might be able to change something around if we can see it.

Where is it hitting the TVP?

Take the spacer out on the bottom side of the servo horn. If you use a lock nut on the bottom you can leave just enough play so the sliders move freely.

you mean the spacer that goes in the slider? becouse theres no spacer on the servo horn. thanks for all your help, this is bugging me...

It looks like you have a spacer on the underside of the servo horn? Unless thats the servo horn I'm looking at. Can you take more pics where its hitting the frame?

Ok. In that case how bout moving both sliders to the top of the servo arm. You might have to adjust the brake linkage a little but it will clear the tvp that way

thats what i did. the only way i could do the slider on the bottom is if i got a longer arm or rasid the servo. this will work and thanks for all your help. heres a pic.. its not finised yet.

A longer servo arm would actually be the best solution. It will give you the space you need as well as a little more leverage for braking power.
