fuel tank lid problem

I'm runnin the ofna 125cc tank with my mid tank mod and when i have a landing on its lid from a low jump the lid pops open and the fuel pours out. my ? is is there a way that i can put a stiffer retaining spring on it to help prevent this?

try adjusting the o ring on the bottom of the lid if it has one.....might take care of your problem

ive adjusted it but it still doesnt want to stay shut for some odd reason.

Just don't land it on the lid. Seriously, the o-ring adjustemnt should help it, or you could figure out a way to maybe zip tie it down while you run.

The spring that holds the lid down may be worn.

yah change the O ring on the lid or just move it around a bit !!
