Fuel percentages? Hotter or cooler?

If I use a higher percentage nitro will my engine run hotter or cooler?

i found 30 up here in canada winters ran cooler and more constant for all me and my buddys

When you run a higher nitro your tune ends up richer so sometimes you can see a small drop in run temps. If you are running to hot however this is not a way to solve it. Often times you have to add a head shim when going from 20-30%

Either run a shim or a cooler plug. I use werks 30% an it runs way cooler than the traxxas 20% i ran! Believe it or not the oil has alot to do with the temps as well! Werks 30% barely puts out any smoke do to a higher quality oil that stays in the engine an lubes rather than burn off like traxxas fuel. I pulled my k5.9 apart after months of storage an it was still oily! No rust or anything, just as if i had put after run oil in it! Guy that owns clockwerk racing told me all that info!
