Fuel going wrong way

Prime engine fine put in starter press start fuel goes back to tank? any suggestions welcome

Leak in fuel lines or tank? If there was no pressure applied on the return line from the exhaust it might not be able to hold fuel at the engine.

may be a silly question but since you said new tank and lines, did you hook them up correctly??

Yes just put high pressure though exhaust from air pipe but now 10pm so will try tomorrow people next door might not be too happy if I start it up now

I agree with @NightFlier X4.6 when I fire mine up my neighbors watch me almost. Sounds like a chainsaw running

Maybe lines are on backwards I did it to mine when I changed them

As soon as take thumb off exhaust no pressure new exhaust gasket no help now going for new pipe and hope
