Well, I remember my friend's sh .28 would eat through a whole tank of fuel in probably 2-3 minutes. It was ridiculous.
I always have mine tuned a little on the rich side. I do do a lot of wot but only in short bursts.
Does that help you estimate it? I don't want an engine that sucks a tank of fuel in 5 minutes. I can't afford that.

Well for comparison i have an XTM MMT it has a 290cc tank and an SH.28 engine and it will run about 10 minutes or so on a full tank, like you i do some bashin and don't get alot of wfo driving,at 250 degrees it is runnin rich also caz i try to take care of my stuff, but my truck also weighs 18 pounds rtr so you can guess it aint fuel thrifty... I have a vid posted here if ya are interested in :eyes: have fun man is all i can say :lmao:

Tuning is going to be your biggest variable. Most people ,as jam pointed out, tend to run it a tad rich to get more longevity out of their engines. If you run really rich, you gulp fuel. If run lean you sip a little better. Also running too lean or too rich can cause serious damage to your engine.

If run time is a big concern for you, it might be time to consider a mid-tank mod!

well under normal conditions you may get 8 maybe minutes on a tank, but alot depends on the variables you have......
