FLM VS CF weight difference...

A while back Alex was gonna weigh his flm tvps and prc tvps (both are ext) and lmk a weight difference.

This info would be valuable as I've got a few members asking me about this but i cannot provide info because my PRC ext are flux and FLM ext are nitro.

you weighing both tvps? Because i can call gina at flm and have her weigh them. I'm sure she won't mind.. she did weigh the flm bulks for me.

Yeah, I needed a set since I needed to build a truck for my son - so the FLM's went on mine, and my son got the XL TVPs.

PRC LCG tower = 33g
PRC motor plate=35g
PRC Ext (Single) TVP "nitro" 88g

264.8 Grams for 2 flm ext tvps
176 grams for 2 PRC ext tvps

85 grams of shaved weight for those that go from flm to cf.

With tires adds 2.2 pounds 10.45#

That's pretty good. My XL with wheels/tires and NO motor, pipe, or fuel tank wieghed in around 12.5 lbs. Probably would be about 15lbs with everything plus fuel LOL. The old 25 I picked up with my k5.9 in it, all ready to go with dirt bones was like 10.5. Way lighter than my XL, even with no motor and stuff in the XL LOL.

Id be curious to see if there is s decent weight savings. I'm thinking of swapping mine out with the prc plates
