I was playing with my savage yesterday cause it was a nice day and it was about 75f degrees so i took it out, i put the needles at factory i replaced the HSN cause the o-rings were bad anyway i had to lean the lsn till i would stay started cause it would die when i tapped the throttle. just a little at a time each time it died, then i got it stable, well the hsn was so rich that even at full throttle the truck wouldn't move to started with the hsn just a little at a time running it real good with each new setting idle still dropped right back to down, the i got it till it would hange and i backed it off a little and bam went to the lsn leaned it out till i got good start off and it would still drop right back to low idle and this was what i got i was ssssoooo happy, :bigsmilie:
I'm hoping as the motor brakes in more i will see a little more power cause it wouldn't wheelie, but i still had good take off and no idle hang i did notice that my tires would spin when i took off though maybe no grip my gearing is 16/49 was thinking of going 15/52.

then i took it in my back yard and just ran it back and fourth and still sounded good (too me anyway better than it was and a better tune then i have gotten it to) after this run i took its temp and it said 257f i might richen it up a little more cause when i put on my body it will warm up more, i would like to find a nice cage instead of a body cause I'm tired of spending 25 bucks for a new body when the other one won't stay on the truck any more. but like i said i went through a tank and a half with no problems and i didn't break anything that to in itself a brake though, lol:smiliejam: i was just excited.

i know its still not perfect but man i was happy with it as it was cause iv never got it that close before. sorry I'm rambling but i was just pleased with myself is all.

you've got a nice setup truck Shark...good on ya...

as for tuning, i think you're enjoying yourself....i'm pretty sure you LSN can be a tad leaner...and your HSN - definitely go lean more...as long as you see good trail of smoke, you shd be good...

And, I love the sound of your pipe!.. 😛

thanks

yeah i figured maybe i could but i was happy to get it tuned that much, tunning is still a learning process for me but it seems I'm getting the hang of it.

i was liking it too sounded nice, its an ofna 086 pipe.
