1. What kind of glow plugs are recommended for the 5.9??? It came with a R5. I think i read somewhere that you want a colder plug for more nitro and a medium to hot for less nitro, I'm running 20% now, but planning on running 30 when it gets a little warmer out, so whats the best plugs to run depending on weather, and nitro contents???

2. Is it normal for a little wetness around the base of the engine after an outing???

3. would a different pipe wake this engine up a little more???

4. Who uses after run oil?? My LHS really recomends it, and ive been using it as directed...who uses it??? and what are the benefits????

5. And this isnt engine related (well i guess it could be) but i installed the savage wheelie bar, and now i cant fit the rotostart in b/c of the bar, i put the smaller wheel on there and i can jam the roto start in there, but i don't really like to jam parts to make them work, any solutions to this problem other than a pull start??? Can i get an extended roto start shaft????

Thanks guys!!!!

1- use something cold like r8 from OS, am using byron 30% with it

4- after run engine oil makes sure that u r engine is lubricated and the residual from ur fuel wont stick the engine internal cus of the viscosity, also keep ur parts clean and dun smoother for the future, no more scuff

cheers

1 both med and cold plugs will be fine for it on 30%

2 describe the wetness more. Could be the oil hole in the block is plugged and oil is seeping out of your front bearing.

3 That mill is anemic IDK of a ppe that helps it. I say run it till its pouched then buy a .28 picco LRp ETC all are faster and stronger than the 5.9. Save the money or buy a pipe like the 086 that runs good with these mills. So when the time comes your ready for the new mill.

4 I use ARO. Nitro is hygroscopic and draws in moisture into the mill. Aro if use right threw the carb coats all the parts that rust if not protected and adds lube for start up.

5 I do believe you can get a longer shaft. I say just put the K4.6 pullstart on it and lose that tag along

Thanks I'm gonna get some cold plugs for her

Its kinda hard to explain...its not really by the front bearing, or output shaft, it looks like its seeping from the carb and running down the side of the block, i tightend the carb pinch bolt down some as it was sorta loose, i cleaned the oil up and I'm gonna check it again after the next run.

Yeah thats what i figured, I'm just gonna run the crap outta the 5.9 and get a LRP most likely so ill just wait till then to get a good pipe!

Ive been using the ARO for the last 3 outings and i must say it works awesome, the motor starts right up on like the 2nd turn of the roto start so i think its doing its job well...i will continue to use ARO!!!

Pull start is in the works, I'm tired of charging batteries, so i guess untill i get it, ill just have to live with it...

Thanks for the input man!!!:resp:
