thanks for replies guys, guess the modded picco is the way to go, but is the standard picco any better than what i already have or whats the best of the rest, as i am in the uk robins picco is hard to come by

Yep stock picco's are still killer. You may want to drop the gearing down a bit. You will get better low end and you will sill get the top end because the motor will be able to wind out. Give a 17 tooth cb a try.

ok Carl, didnt realize you were in UK. If your looking for a fast non-modder, also check out the lrp .28 spec 3 as you mentioned.

also check out the lrp .30. londoner runs one and i was impressed by the vids. search through his build thread & you should find em https://www.hpisavageforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11175&highlight=londoner

I heard the LRP .30 was hard to get parts for. Something weird, like they don't make parts for it anymore or something like that. Don't know if there is any truth to that but I figured I'd give you a heads up. It would be worth looking into if you decided to get an LRP. The .28 might have more parts available than the .30 and thats always a plus.
