Does anyone know is the stock tuned pipe from a savage x ss would be a upgrade from my plastic pipe on my savage x

I was running it on my LRP before I changed to a BUKU. I liked it. It seemed to be a good match for the engine.

Yeah, the tuned pipe will really open up that F4.6. And it's cheap.

You might want to cut some holes in your windshield for some airflow to cool as well.

that hpi polished pipe will give you a noticeable difference in performance

I might be wrong, but I thought the ribbed pipe is basically a straight through pipe. Real loud, but no performance gain. I have never used one though.

The ribbed is straight through. I don't think it increases performance but I know guys have said its very loud. I have a used one Ive never run. If anyone is interested let me know.
