engine for savage

I wanted your guys opinion on an engine. i was offered the engine in a trade but i want to know it's a good engine before i trade my crawler. The engine address is below. thanks for any help.

i personally never ran one .. but its only 3 port... and it don't say what kind of rpms it puts out .. but it comes down to how much you like your crawler and is the motor new or how many gallons are on it ect...dnt know any thing about them mills ... just do it if you feel comfortable doing it .. if you feel a lil worried or feel like your crawlers worth more to you than the engine then don't trade ... best advice i can give ..

does ports affect the engine and the mill is in the box brand new. How would RPM'S affect the engine, it says that it is for use with a monster truck on the website.

ports make the engine more faster snappier throttle response and fuel effecient and the rpms are the higher the rpm the more top speed and out put the engine will have .

i have owned a couple 3 ports in the past and yes they were alot harder to tune and to get them to keep a tune but power wise the sh m28 p3 engine that came in my truggy was a real powerhouse but i had to chase the "sweet spot" every time i ran it!! lol and i have heard alot of good things about RB engines but cant say from personal experience as i have never ran one!!!!

3 ports have lots of bottom end short top end so it will wind out real fast. my sh 28 3 port did that but i had no tuning issues what so ever with it like shaun has mentioned.
