does any1 know if an axial head will fit the k4.6 engine???

I'm just curious cus they both look exactly the same except for bigger fins on heat sink??

ya I'm curious also and a smart good question.

Does the axial head fit a k4.6 engine???????????????//

i will have to say that the STS D30M is an amazing engine. there is so much compression in that engine for the pull starter to bruise my hand when engine turns off....the engine is such a monster that i lost about 5 chasis screws off my savage. My engine is MODDED though by ABmods. I sent my engine to Adam Belvins (ABmods) and gave my engine a full out mod for 105$. fuel consumption is amazing. a tank takes me about 20 mins at full speed most of the time......my high end is crazy and low end is crazy. i could not have asked for something better not to mention the customer service. i can honestly say its the best customer service i have ever had.

he modded my engine 2-3 months ago and he is still helping me and giving me advice not just for the engine but for anything i need help with.

YOU cannot go wrong with choosing this guy for you engine if you are looking for a modder.

www.abmods.com --------------this is where AMAZING happens if you know what i mean..!!!!!!!1

i do not stand by axial as they have crappy quality... every time i run the engine there is a leak.... i tried sealing it with heat resistant silicone still leaks and performance isn't that great. every 1 says axial 28 is stronger than k4.6 i think thats a load of BULL****.

thats exactly why the k4.6 is $50 more expensive and thats because it has better quality and better performance.

Axial people YOU ARE WRONG.!!!!

There is some really good stuff in this thread. Good responses. Picco P3 wins the debate.... :FarleyParty:

I was all set to pick up a Picco P3 when I came to the conclusion that my driving and tuning skills were not up to the level needed to operate it (1.5 gallons of experience). A short time later I bought a brand new HPI K4.6 off ebay for $100. I figured it would be easier for me to perfect my skills with a less powerfull engine, plus it was a damn good price.

Hopefully the K4.6 lasts longer than my original F4.6 which blew apart after 1.5 gallons and a skatepark. :Xfingers:

Nothing wrong with the K. What happened to your F? Ouch... 1.5 gallons?

Whipnet, check out the avatar pic. You can see the chunk missing from the block of the F4.6

Landing a 30ft jump onto pavement head first at a skatepark won't prolong engine life. :duh:
