Well, my f4.6 died yesterday. Lasted about 6 or 7 gallons. Whenever you let off the gas it instantly dies no matter where you got the idle or tuning.
And it has no power left. I think what really finished it off was flipping it over in a puddle and submergeing the filter in mud. Did that twice....
It was a good engine and held to a lot of abuse.

well like anything, it aint gonna last forever.... there are alot of great engines out there these days so replacement is pretty ez....

Yeah...I'm going to wait until spring to get a new one, though. Its pretty hard to run nitros up here in the up during winter.
If you have suggestions for a new motor, let me hear em' ! 😛eace:

LRP z.28r spec 3. :10: nuff said.

I have no experience with the LRP.30. However I have heard good things about it. I have however ran other .30s in my savage and find that I like the way a .28 runs in it better. Luckily both engines are fairly cheap. I'd say if you have the cash go for it, the worst that could happen is that you replace it eventually.

these days for bashing , most large block engines are about equal. if you are racing I would go for the best engine you can buy if just bashing most any engine will give ya good performance for your hard earned dollar.....just my opinon but look at the specs and you can make a good choice....
